Our Cannon so far... The Wheels Each Wheel comprises of seven rim sections (or Felloes), fourteen Spokes and one Hub (or Knave). One set of fourteen spokes have been inserted into one of the hubs. Jeremy and John carefully attach each of the felloes to the spokes around the hub. The Oak wheel has been assembled and is ready to be varnished before the steel band/tyre is shrunk on. The Wheel is approximately five feet (1.5m) in diameter and sixteen feet (4.8m) in circumference. ... Previous Page \| Next Page ...
