Our Cannon so far... The Wheel Knaves To create the wheel hubs, or Knaves, smaller blocks of Oak were glued together to form one large blank, ready to be turned on the lathe. A half finished hub on the lathe. The completed, varnished hubs. Spoke holes have been cut into the hub. Steel bands have been fitted to the wheel hubs for strength and authenticity. ...
