Our Cannon so far... The Barrel This is how the Barrel looked upon it's return from the casters. It is possible to see the steel trunions and liner protruding from the aluminium casting. Jeremy removing the protruding liner ... ...and the sparks flew! Once removed, the burrs at the edges of the liner had to be ground down. The barrel after some 'tidying' had taken place.
